Love’s Travel Stops is adding new chipotle-flavored items to its menu, a spokesperson for Love’s told NACS. From May 5 through August 31, Love’s will be serving chipotle chicken tacos, chipotle chicken and potato bowls and chipotle chicken salad wraps.
The retailer is also bringing back its strawberry and pineapple fruit cup and strawberry parfait using freshly sliced strawberries to the summer menu.
Meanwhile, Royal Farms is launching a lineup of new sub options, the retailer said in a press release.
The retailer is offering three chicken options: classic, grilled or spicy, with up to 24 delicious combinations of flavors to mix and match. Royal Farms said the options include:
- Smokey BBQ
- Bacon Rancher: bacon with a drizzle of ranch.
- Chesapeake Chicken: a tribute to local Maryland flavor.
- Cordon Bleu Bird: – classic comfort with chicken, ham and melted Swiss.
- Melty Marinara
- Foghorn Club: “built like a ROFO legend. Big on flavor.”
- Custom Clucker: a sub made to customer preference.
- ROFO Buffalo: “a fiery, saucy favorite.”
Earlier this week, QuickChek launched its summer menu with two new $4.99, six-inch sub offerings, $3 lattes after 3 p.m., Nerds cookie and shake mashups, and cool colada smoothies.
Every month, QuickChek also adds a coffee blend to its self-serve coffee bar. May’s blend, “Ube Vanilla,” features rich vanilla flavor with creamy, nutty undertones. In June, customers will take a virtual walk along the shore with each sip of the featured “Boardwalk Blend,” which tastes like s’mores.
