Love’s Travel Stops is launching order ahead capability at more than 130 Love’s Travel Stops Carl’s Jr. locations across the country, the retailer said in a press release.
The service, powered by Bite, allows customers to order ahead from a mobile device using the Love’s Connect App. Customers can specify their preferred pick-up time up to one hour in advance.
“Love’s new order ahead option enhances the overall dining experience by ensuring customers get their orders quickly and accurately,” said Joe Cotton, vice president of food service for Love’s. “We’re committed to continually investing in our customers’ experience, and order ahead is a big step in that direction.”
To celebrate the launch, Love’s is offering customers a special promotion to try order ahead for the first time. From July 14 through August 10, customers can use the Love’s Connect App to order ahead and get a free Single Western Bacon Cheeseburger with a $10 minimum purchase.
Last month, Love’s Travel Stops deployed intelligent kiosks in Arby’s restaurants across the country. The retailer said large, tablet-like touch screen kiosks allow customers to place their food orders more quickly, and that self-ordering improves order accuracy and reduces operational costs.
The kiosks “seamlessly integrate with Love’s existing technology,” including order ahead in the Love’s Connect app (Love’s previously launched order ahead at Arby’s locations this year), point of sale and loyalty rewards. My Love’s Reward members can input their information at the checkout for benefits.
Love’s highlighted that the kiosks will help push seasonal promotions by highlighting LTO’s and offering recommendations to users.
