Taco Bell is bringing back its Cheesy Dipping Burritos this month, which are “a fan-inspired comeback.” Launching December 18, the QSR is also bringing back its Steak Garlic Nacho Fries. Taco Bell said it “listens, learns and celebrates its community—taking fan-favorite hacks to the national stage.”
The Cheesy Dipping Burritos feature warm, “snack sized” burritos, with the option of grilled steak or chicken. The return of Cheesy Dipping Burritos features the option to pair them with three dipping sauces, including Creamy Garlic Sauce, a new flavor joining the lineup at the request of customers. The other dipping sauces are Creamy Chipotle Sauce or Nacho Cheese Sauce.
The Steak Garlic Nacho Fries feature nacho fries topped with grilled steak, pico de gallo, shredded cheddar cheese, nacho cheese sauce and Creamy Garlic Sauce.
The Cheesy Dipping Burritos will cost $5.49 and the Steak Garlic Nacho Fries will cost $4.99 beginning December 18 and will be available for a limited time at participating Taco Bell locations nationwide.
McDonald’s is testing out a new McSpicy Chicken Sandwich made with a spicy filet, as well as McCrispy strip options split between glazed and seasoned varieties in Chicago-area stores, reported Dexerto.
“The glazed McCrispy Strips are available in Sweet Chili, Teriyaki and Kickin’ BBQ flavors. The seasoned McCrispy Strips include Spicy Garlic, Sweet Asian and Garlic Parm. In addition to sandwiches and strips, McDonald’s is also testing McSpicy Bone-In Wings. The wings utilize the same McSpicy seasoning featured on the Spicy Chicken Sandwich,” the outlet wrote.
Meanwhile over at Chipotle Mexican Grill, the QSR recently opened its 4,000th restaurant, which is located in Manhattan, Kansas. The new location includes a “Chipotlane,” a drive-thru pick-up lane.
“Since current CEO Scott Boatwright joined Chipotle in 2017 as Chief Restaurant Officer, the company has grown from over 2,300 restaurants to 4,000 locations, a 70% increase in only eight years. Chipotle will open between 315 to 345 restaurants for the full year 2025, with at least 80% featuring a Chipotlane. For 2026, management is anticipating 350 to 370 new restaurant openings, including 10 to 15 international partner-operated locations,” the QSR said.
