Taco Bell has launched a “fan style menu,” with three new menu items created by fans of the QSR. Taco Bell received 40,000 submissions from loyalists who were invited to share their most inventive custom orders and chose three fans, dubbed Taco Bell honorary “Fan Chefs,” whose creations made the cut: Brock's California Crunchwrap, Sandra's Cantina Craze and Kajol's Burrito Bliss.
- California Crunchwrap: “This fan favorite subs in steak, adds seasoned fries and guacamole and wraps it all in the signature grilled Crunchwrap shell. Inspired by laid-back SoCal flavors, it's an elevated take that balances indulgence and comfort in each bite.”
- Burrito Bliss: “A vegetarian remix of the beloved cheesy bean and rice burrito, it features seasoned rice, refried beans, pico de gallo, Fiesta Strips Tortilla Strips and creamy Avocado Ranch, all grilled.”
- Cantina Craze: “The Cantina Chicken Crispy Taco gets a fan spin that amps up the flavor with Creamy Jalapeño Sauce, lettuce, tomatoes and a touch of reduced-fat sour cream.”
The items can be ordered through the Taco Bell app and via in-restaurant kiosks at participating Taco Bell locations.
Sweetgreen launched a limited time Power Max Protein Bowl, which includes 106 grams of protein. The dish uses four servings of antibiotic-free roasted chicken, plus double portions of herbed quinoa and spicy broccoli, and is finished with Sweetgreen’s green goddess ranch dressing.
It also added two new caramelized garlic steak dishes to the menu, “further expanding its lineup of high-protein meals,” the company said in a press release. The new menu items come on the heels of the company adding a macronutrient tracking tool across its digital platforms.
Little Caesars launched its newest menu item: the stuffed crunch crust pizza, which features “a toasted, cheese-stuffed crust brushed with buttery garlic flavor and finished with herbs and breadcrumbs.” Little Caesars app users received early access to the new crust option before it was added to in-store and Hot-N-Ready options.
For the holidays, KFC is offering a new $25 Extra Crispy Festive Feast, which includes an 8-piece bucket of Extra Crispy fried chicken, biscuits, two large sides of mashed potatoes and the company’s new Gravy Flight with three 8 oz sides of gravy in the flavors Signature Brown, White Peppercorn and new Southwest Cheddar Gravy.
The company is also bringing back its personal pot pie for $4.99.
For Thanksgiving, Chipotle is offering an in-restaurant BOGO offer on Wednesday, November 26. “For many of our guests, their hometown Chipotle is where they've created countless memories, and this Thanksgiving Eve, it's a destination where reunions can begin,” said Chris Brandt, president, chief brand officer, Chipotle. “Whether you're grabbing dinner with your childhood friends or kicking off the holiday early with relatives, our Back Home BOGO makes it easy to bring people together with real food.”
Recently, the QSR introduced Build Your Own Chipotle (BYOC), “a digital-exclusive family meal” designed to serve four to six. It can be customized and is ready for pickup in 15 minutes, the company said.
