QuickChek kicked off pumpkin spice season with the return of its Pumpkin Spice Coffee on August 11, the retailer said in a press release sent to NACS. QuickChek said its full pumpkin-inspired menu will be available at participating QuickChek locations beginning August 25.
“Crafted from 100% Arabica beans and locally roasted for bold flavor and maximum freshness, QuickChek’s Pumpkin Spice Coffee transports you to fall with every sip. A medium-roast, this seasonal favorite features notes of rich pumpkin compounded with an aromatic blend of nutmeg, cinnamon, clove and ginger,” it said.
“Some people may argue it is too early for pumpkin-flavored food and drinks, but we wanted to be the first to market for true fans of the official start of fall,” said Blake Segal, SVP of QuickChek. “Launching our Pumpkin Spice Coffee has become a tradition at QuickChek and we are excited to offer our loyal customers an early taste of their seasonal favorite.”
Customers can get the Pumpkin Spice Coffee hot, iced, frozen or to take home:
- Hot and iced: Available at QuickChek’s self-serve coffee bar, with the option of a 99-cent cup when added to a breakfast sandwich or burrito order.
- Frozen: Handcrafted and made to order for those who prefer their pumpkin with a cool twist.
- Take home: Pumpkin Spice Coffee is available in 64 oz. brew boxes beginning August 25, and in bags of ground coffee while supplies last.
QuickChek’s pumpkin-infused drinks and smoothies will be available at all locations across New Jersey, the New York Hudson Valley and Long Island, New York, while supplies last, the retailer said.
The retailer’s pumpkin offerings come on the heels of its summer menu, which featured two new $4.99, six-inch subs, $3 lattes after 3 p.m., Nerds cookie and shake mashups and cool colada smoothies.
