Indiana-based Family Express has been recognized with multiple Top Workplaces Awards for employee appreciation, professional development, purpose and values, innovation, leadership and employee well-being, according to a press release.
The honors were awarded based on employee feedback and position the company as a nominee for the USA Top Workplace Awards in November 2026.
“As we celebrate our 50th anniversary, these awards are a testament to the incredible people who make up our Family Express teams,” said Alex Olympidis, president of operations. “Our culture of caring, our investment in professional development and our commitment to innovation have all contributed to a workplace where employees can truly thrive, and that directly translates into better experiences for our customers and communities.”
Family Express said its hiring process is highly selective, with roughly one in 50 applicants joining the team, reflecting the company’s dedication to finding individuals who embody their values and can contribute to its culture of excellence. Last year, NACS visited Family Express to learn more about its dedication to hiring the right people and building a great culture for an Ideas 2 Go video.
Meanwhile, Sheetz was ranked No. 33 on Fortune and Great Place to Work’s annual ranking of the 2025 Best Workplaces for Women in the large company category. This is the second year in a row that Sheetz earned the distinction.
To determine the best workplaces for women ranking, Great Place to Work said it measures survey responses from self-identified women and compares their responses to those of their peers, analyzing the extent to which women’s demographic backgrounds or position within the organization change that experience.
