Pilot announced the launch of its fall coffee lineup and is treating drivers to a free cup of coffee for National Coffee Day.
The lineup features a Cinnabon pumpkin spice cappuccino, combining the “beloved taste of Cinnabon with the warm spices of pumpkin;” a cinnamon roll cold brew, which the company described as a cold brew that “captures the essence of a classic cinnamon roll, delivering a smooth, flavorful pick-me-up;” and the return of its bourbon pecan hot coffee, a “rich and nutty blend [that] is enhanced with just a hint of sweetness.”
To celebrate National Coffee Day deals and discounts, on September 29, Pilot will be celebrating by offering customers a free, any size hot or iced coffee, redeemable through its app.
"When dreaming up our fall coffee lineup, we set out to craft the ultimate cup of cozy comfort for every driver on the road," said Sean Marrero, vice president of food and beverage. “Whether you're embarking on a scenic road trip, gearing up for a football game or just navigating the morning rush, our new brews are here to add a little more joy to every mile."
Maverik and Kum & Go are also offering exclusive deals for their rewards members in honor of International Coffee Day on Tuesday, October 1.
Deals will be offered across their combined footprint of more than 840 Maverik and Kum & Go locations in 20 states from the Midwest to the West Coast. Adventure Club and &Rewards members will enjoy 50% off one cup of bean-to-cup roasts, while upgraded Maverik Nitro cardholders will be treated to one free cup at Maverik locations.
Both offers are good for one hot beverage, up to size large.
Recent data from Placer.ai found that pumpkin spice coffee flavors are driving foot traffic—this year on the Thursday when Starbucks’s pumpkin spice menu dropped, foot traffic to Starbucks surged 24.1% from the coffee giant’s daily average for the previous eight Thursdays.
