Wendy’s announced the launch of its new Frosty Cream Cold Brew lineup. According to the press release the beverages merge “smooth, cold-brewed coffee with legendary Frosty creamer and the choice of rich vanilla, chocolate or new caramel syrup—the Frosty Cream Cold Brew is swirled to perfection over ice.”

"Wendy's new Frosty Cream Cold Brew packs cold brew flavor with the one-of-a-kind Frosty creamer our fans know and love," said John Li, global vice president of culinary innovation for The Wendy's Company. "While the other guys serve bitter iced coffee, we slow steep coffee beans in cold water for 12 hours to create the smoothest, never bitter, refreshing brew.”

Wendy's Frosty Cream Cold Brew is available all day, every day at Wendy's restaurants nationwide.

"The Frosty is one of our most recognizable menu items, so we're excited to bring our fans a unique take on this iconic treat that can be sipped on at any time of day," said Lindsay Radkoski, U.S. chief marketing officer for The Wendy's Company.

The popularity of cold brew continues to soar. Last year sales of cold-brew coffee increased 27% and iced coffee 11%, while The New York Times reported that even in the winter months, cold beverages account for 60% of Starbucks sales.

The beverage is especially popular with younger consumers. This group, inundated with options, expects to like a product immediately, without “putting in work” to learn to enjoy bitter or complex tastes, The Wall Street Journal reported.
