ALEXANDRIA, Va.—Rich Products has introduced a certified gluten-free pizza crust to its menu for convenience-store operators. The gluten-free, parbaked Detroit-style pizza crust is a 9”x7” premium personal-sized crust in a freezer-to-oven format.

Three out of four consumers consider gluten-free products beneficial for everyone, not just those with a gluten allergy, intolerance or sensitivity, according to Mintel’s “Gluten Free Foods” report, while Detroit-style pizza ranked the fourth most popular menu item on Grub Hub’s Dining Trends in 2021.

Rich’s Detroit Style Pizza Crust contains no artificial colors, flavors or sweeteners, no high fructose corn syrup and no hydrogenated oils. It omits more than 70 sensitive ingredients such as bleached flour, MSG and added sulfites. The crusts are each nine ounces and come 20 per case with a shelf life of 240 days frozen or seven days refrigerated.

Meanwhile, Hershey has announced its Valentine’s Day and Easter candy line up.

New Valentine's Day treats include Hershey's Milk Chocolate Heart Bars, Hershey's Kisses Chocolate Dipped Strawberry, Rolo Creamy Caramels and Reese's Peanut Butter Cups-Shaped Gift Box.
