Minnesota-based Minnoco Stores announced that during its annual October “Pink Out” campaign, the company raised $10,000 for the local charity Hope Chest for Breast Cancer. Through the campaign, 37 locally owned and community-involved Minnoco fueling stations in Minnesota donated five cents from the sale of every gallon of gas.

Hope Chest for Breast Cancer’s purpose is to provide the quickest access to help with the most urgent emergency needs of local breast cancer patients. This may include keeping breast cancer patients in their homes, with the lights and heat on and healthy meals on the table, while they’re fighting breast cancer.

“The Pink Out promotion is a great way for Minnoco owners and their employees to give back to their communities, contributing to an important cause,” said Lance Klatt, executive director, Minnoco.

Last year, Minnoco raised $9,000 for breast cancer awareness and research.

Klatt was part of the session “What California’s Regulations Can Teach Us” at the 2023 NACS Show. Education sessions from the Show are now available on demand.

The Spinx Company, a South Carolina-based fuel and convenience retail company, announced that it has raised $324,960 for the American Cancer Society during a month-long, statewide campaign to provide support for cancer patients and their families. The annual company-wide initiative brings awareness to the American Cancer Society (ACS).
