Casey’s annual campaign to combat food insecurity in partnership with Feeding America started this week, according to a press release. Now through April 1, Casey’s will raise funds through register roundups and online donations. The proceeds will support nearly 60 Feeding America partner food banks in Casey’s communities.
Casey’s said it is collaborating with Feeding America to help provide 10 million meals during this year’s campaign, which will go directly to local community members facing hunger.
“In partnership with Feeding America and Celsius, and with the generosity of our guests, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of those in Casey’s Country—especially rural areas—who may not have access to the food and resources they need to thrive,” said Ena Williams, chief operating officer at Casey’s.
Mirabito Energy Products, parent company of Mirabito Convenience Stores, recently donated $16,500 to The DICK’S Foundation’s Sports Matter Program through a partnership with Syracuse University Athletics, according to a statement.
“As part of our Kicks for a Cause campaign, Mirabito pledged $300 for every successful kick made by the Syracuse football team during home games throughout the 2024-2025 season. Thanks to an outstanding season, we are thrilled to make this significant contribution to an organization that is committed to ensuring that all young athletes have access to play, recognizing that sports can shape character, foster community and provide essential physical and mental health benefits,” said Mirabito.
“At Mirabito, we believe in giving back to the communities we serve, and our partnership with Syracuse Athletics allows us to do just that,” said Marissa Sweeney, marketing director at Mirabito Energy Products. “The Sports Matter initiative aligns perfectly with our Mirabito Cares mission of supporting organizations that benefit youth and families for a brighter future.”
