ALEXANDRIA, Va.—The Conexxus Technology Hall of Fame, established in 2011, honors industry pioneers who have made significant contributions to the advancement of the convenience store industry through development and use of technology standards.

This year, Conexxus will induct Susan Chan, associate director of retail petroleum architecture and assurance for W. Capra Consulting Group. Chan has served on the Conexxus Board of Advisors for over nine years, has been active in numerous working groups, and has held various leadership roles, including past chair of the standards quality assurance committee and current chair of the technical advisory committee.

She has a proven track record of success and her work with retailers to bring new multivendor solutions to market that incorporate Conexxus Standards gives her a real-world perspective to the challenges and benefits retailers face.

“Sue’s passion for the industry, her leadership in advancing not only standards themselves, but the process by which we create standards, and her lasting impact on the industry is abundantly clear,” noted Linda Toth, managing director of Conexxus. “She embodies all the qualities that make her an outstanding choice for induction into the Technology Hall of Fame.”

Chan will be inducted into the Technology Hall of Fame during the Conexxus Annual Conference in Coronado Bay, California, on Wednesday May 3, 2023. The Conexxus Annual Conference brings together industry technologists for education, committee work and networking. Registration is open.
