NORTHERN IRELAND – Aramark and Jamie Oliver have announced a 10-year partnership to enhance food concepts and delivery across workplaces in Northern Europe, including the United Kingdom and Ireland. Aramark will also be able to introduce social dining experiences to client sites, as well as to develop exclusive concepts for Aramark clients.

Established in 2008, Jamie Oliver Restaurant Group operates Jamie’s Deli, Jamie Oliver’s Diner, Jamie Oliver’s Pizzeria and Jamie’s Italian. The new partnership will help the brand expand its presence further with dining concepts in Aramark managed retail and office environments. The two companies will also work together to encourage a nutritional revolution across the U.K. and Ireland by focusing on innovative culinary developments, staff training and enhancing client wellbeing and productivity through nutrition and food.

Frank Gleeson, Aramark’s president in Northern Europe, and NACS Vice Chairman of International, said in a statement: “We are passionate about the health and well-being of those we serve every day so it was a natural fit for us to partner with Jamie Oliver. Together, we have an opportunity to create innovative culinary experiences that will revolutionize productivity and health in workplaces throughout Northern Europe. We serve hundreds of thousands of people in workplaces, schools and colleges every day, so we have a fantastic opportunity of working together where we can set the agenda for health and nutrition and have a real and lasting impact on people’s lives.”

Jon Knight, CEO of Jamie Oliver Restaurant Group, added: “Aramark’s mission of enriching and nourishing lives resonated with us, reflecting our own values. We have seen how that mission is given life throughout the company every day and how Aramark extends this beyond providing a consistently high-quality food offering but in introducing wellbeing program in client sites.”

The Jamie Oliver Group design and culinary teams will also work with Aramark’s culinary team to develop food concepts exclusive to Aramark. The partnership will introduce a new level of social dining into Aramark’s business.
