Anabi Oil announced today that it is signing a definitive agreement to acquire Southern Nevada-based Green Valley Grocery, the company told NACS in a statement. The acquisition includes 87 Green Valley Grocery locations across Southern Nevada, pending approval.

Green Valley Grocery and Anabi Oil, which operates Rebel convenience stores, “each bring unique strengths to the Las Vegas market, and the combined network will drive innovation, expand loyalty programs and create efficiencies that position the business to honor Green Valley Grocery’s legacy while investing in its future,” Anabi Oil said.

“Green Valley Grocery has been a cornerstone of Las Vegas for nearly 50 years and we are honored to carry that legacy forward,” said Sam Anabi, founder and owner of Anabi Oil. “This acquisition is about our long-term commitment to Nevada: keeping the Green Valley Grocery name alive, strengthening Rebel’s place in the community and continuing to invest in the future of convenience for the families and neighborhoods we serve.”

For Anabi Oil, the acquisition represents both growth and stewardship, the brand said. Founded in 1991 when Sam Anabi started with a single gas station, the family-owned operator is now "recognized for its Rebel brand and its innovation and trust in the convenience industry," it said.

In June 2024, Land O’Sun Management Corporation, dba Fast Track, sold its petroleum marketing, convenience retail and QSR businesses to Anabi Real Estate Development LLC and its affiliates, dba Anabi/Rebel.

Headquartered in Gainesville, Florida, Fast Track operated 17 convenience stores, 10 co-located QSRs and two stand-alone QSRs in northern Florida.
