RaceTrac recently unveiled its limited-time only Brunch Burger. “This protein-packed sandwich was created in RaceTrac’s very own culinary kitchen, combining savory breakfast flavors like a fluffy egg, crispy bacon, golden hashbrown with classic cheeseburger goodness, all served on a soft burger bun—perfect for satisfying cravings any time of the day,” RaceTrac said.
The Brunch Burger is joined by four other seasonal items: BBQ Chicken Hawaiian Pizza, Mango Habanero Wings, Apple Pie Empanada and Southwest BBQ Chicken Wrap.
“These new limited-time menu items highlighted by the Brunch Burger reflect RaceTrac’s culture of innovation and the brand’s evolution as a true food destination where quality meets convenience,” said Bonnie Zaring, executive director of food programs and offers at RaceTrac. “Our culinary team put a lot of time and effort into creating and refining these menu items until we landed on something that delivers real value and tastes incredible. We are confident these limited time game-changing menu items will be a hit with guests.”
Last month, RaceTrac announced it was set to acquire Potbelly Corporation, a national chain of almost 450 sandwich shops, in a $566 million all-cash transaction. The acquisition is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2025.
“The first reaction to RaceTrac acquiring Potbelly might be ‘wow.’ But the second reaction for a lot of us in the industry was, ‘That makes a lot of sense.’ It brings together elements that are growing in importance in retail, specifically in c-stores: great foodservice with a neighborhood feel,” Jeff Lennard, vice president of NACS media & strategic communications, said.
