The convenience retailer has raised $3.2 million for the nonprofit in the past 16 years.
STILLWATER, Okl.—OnCue raised $324,000 during its annual St. Jude Halloween Promotion to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, which is leading the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases.
Customers could donate at the register to support the hospital’s lifesaving mission during the month of October. In exchange for contributing $1 or more, patrons received a Halloween-themed pinup displaying an adorable St. Jude patient.
OnCue has raised $3,239,164 for St. Jude throughout its 16-year partnership, making the retailer the largest regional partner for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. In addition to participating in the Halloween promotion, OnCue continued to sell its limited-edition reusable cups benefiting St. Jude for the fourth year in a row and host a charitable golf tournament with the support of their retail partners.
"We’re excited to continue our partnership with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital to help fight childhood cancer," said Laura Aufleger, president of OnCue. "We know the work St. Jude does has widespread impact thanks to its amazing network of freely shared research. Thank you to all our passionate employees and customers who help play a critical role in these life-saving efforts.”
