NACS Convenience Retail Technology Survey
As the pace of technological change in convenience retail advances, many retailers are looking for perspective on how they can prioritize technology innovation to stay ahead of the competition. Especially across the last year, retailers have been challenged to adjust technology priorities to meet shifting operational and customer demands. NACS developed a new survey to meet membership demand for insights on technology implementation efforts and give retailers an opportunity to benchmark with one another.
This survey gathers retailer feedback on technology challenges and the current landscape of convenience retail technology. Each participant will receive a free copy of the research later this year.
The survey has two parts and will take approximately 20 minutes to complete.

First, we will gather your insights to answer the following questions:
- What technology projects are retailers prioritizing?
- What are the top barriers to technology implementation?
- What challenges are retailers using technology to solve for?
Second, the survey will evaluate the current state of the convenience retail technology landscape. Insights provided will shed light on the following areas for specific technologies:
- Maturity of implementation
- Difficulty of implementation
- Level of impact on the business
Who Should Participate
Convenience retailers only. In particular, CIOs, CTOs, innovation & other technology leaders, owners and leadership who focus on technology.;
Deadline: June 30th, 2021
You will not need to look up any information to respond to the survey. All questions are intended to measure your perspective on technology. There are no right or wrong answers, your honest opinion will provide the most useful data. Multiple technology or senior leaders from the same organization are welcome to participate. Participants will receive a free copy of the white paper report based on the aggregate of survey responses when it is available later this year.
