ALEXANDRIA, Va. — Two team members have joined the NACS member engagement team. April Vanapeldorn is the NACS director of retail engagement west and Curtis Postlewaite is the NACS director of retail engagement east. In these newly created roles, they are responsible for engaging new and existing member companies and their employees to become more active participants in the association. The positions also were created to focus on territories that best capture the unique characteristics of NACS membership by region and are part of the broader NACS retail engagement team.
April Vanapeldorn has more than 20 years of experience leading and managing teams. She most recently served as vice president of operations for Mass Equities, which operates roam n’ stop stores. Prior to that, she served as director of dealer wholesale operations for MAPCO Express Inc. She also served in leadership roles with Delek U.S. Holdings Inc. and RaceTrac Petroleum Inc.
Chris Postlewaite has decades of experience in the convenience retailing industry, most recently at Campell Oil Co./Minuteman Food Mart where he was senior director of retail. He also held leadership positions at Holmes Oil/Cruizers, Cefco Convenience Stores, GPM Investments, Valor Oil/Jumpin’ Jack’s and Postlewaite’s Gas & Deli. He also served three years in the United State Navy as personnelman 3rd class.
For more than 60 years, NACS has been recognized as the premiere association for convenience and fuel retailers. NACS has more than 1,000 retail member companies that cumulatively represent more than 200,000 stores in 50-plus countries, including 90,000 stores in the United States alone.
