2018 Produce Excellence in Foodservice Awards Are Open

The program spotlights chefs who excel at promoting fresh fruits and vegetables.

WASHINGTON – Do you know a culinary superstar that excels at spotlighting fresh fruits and vegetables? Then encourage him or her to enter the 2018 Produce Excellence in Foodservice Awards. The United Fresh Produce Excellence in Foodservice Awards Program recognizes chefs and foodservice operations for their innovative efforts in using fresh produce on their menus.

Nominations will be accepted for each of the following business categories:

  • Business in Industry
  • Casual and Family Dining Restaurants
  • Colleges and Universities
  • Fine Dining Restaurants
  • Hospitals and Healthcare
  • Hotels and Resorts
  • K-12 School Foodservice
  • Quick Service Restaurants

The eight winning chefs and an accompanying corporate executive will receive complimentary roundtrip airfare and registration to the United Fresh 2018 convention; two nights of hotel accommodations; and recognition on stage at the Retail-Foodservice Celebration. Winners must attend the United Fresh 2018 convention, to be held June 25-27, in order to participate in this awards program. Submit your nomination by January 19.
