Sheetz is expanding in Detroit with new stores coming to the metro area, reported Detroit News. The retailer will open two stores in Taylor, and others are planned for Macomb, Warren, Chesterfield Township, and Romulus.
The Detroit Sheetz locations are located at:

- 20623 Eureka Road, Taylor, MI 48180
- 45011 Garfield Road, Macomb, MI 48044
- 31925 Van Dyke Avenue, Warren, MI 48093
- 3380 Wick Road, Romulus, MI 48174 (expected to open later this year)
In March, Sheetz hosted the groundbreaking of its first Michigan location in Romulus, Michigan. The store will also feature high flow diesel fuel and Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) for commercial trucks, as well as a truck scale and free parking spaces available for overnight parking to truckers.
Sheetz first announced its plans to expand its footprint into Michigan in November 2022. Travis Sheetz, president and CEO, said that he believes the c-stores "will resonate" with locals and that the company would like to have a "major presence in the entire Detroit metro area.”
The company intends to eventually open around 75 stores in the state.
The first Sheetz to open in Michigan will be 6,900 square feet with 12 vehicle fueling stations and five truck fueling stations.
Sheetz also announced the location of its first store in Toledo, Ohio, which will be built on the site of the former KeyBank at the southwest corner of Reynolds Road and Southwyck Boulevard.
