Circle K is celebrating the new year with a post-holiday Inner Circle Fuel Day event, the company said in a press release.
On Thursday, January 15, from 12:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. local time, Inner Circle loyalty program members will get 40 cents off per gallon of fuel at more than 5,000 stores across 29 states.
Inner Circle members can enter the phone number associated with their account at the pump or inside at checkout to access the deal.
“Every dollar matters—especially as customers recover from holiday expenses and look for ways to start the year off with smart savings,” said Louise Warner, executive vice president of operations, North America, for Circle K. “Fuel Day is our way of giving back and rewarding Inner Circle members with meaningful savings on something essential.”
Over the holidays, other retailers offered fuel discounts and sweepstakes for rewards members.
North Carolina-based Minuteman Food Mart hosted its “Free Gas for a Year” holiday sweepstakes. “One Minuteman Food Mart Rewards member will receive the grand prize of free gas for an entire year. Rewards members are automatically entered when they scan their Minuteman Food Mart Rewards app during qualifying in-store purchases,” the retailer said.
Cumberland Farms also hosted its 12 Days of Cumby’s giveaway, with one of the prizes being free gas for a year.
Over Thanksgiving, Spinx hosted a giveaway where customers had the daily chance to win a share of $100,000 in fuel savings through the company’s app.
