Retailers are continuing to roll out deals and promotions for the holidays, from Black Friday offers to seasonal menu releases to big giveaways.
Pilot is offering a Hostess snacks and coffee bundle, bringing back its seasonal coffee lineup and releasing a digital holiday gift guide.
“The holidays are about those small, comforting moments, like a hot cup of coffee and your favorite sweet treat on a chilly morning,” said Sean Marrero, senior vice president of food and beverage at Pilot. “We love being part of people’s journeys and bringing those simple joys to the road, adding a little extra cheer to every mile.”
Holiday deals include:
- Limited-time Hostess bundle: Customers can get any size hot coffee and two single-serve Hostess snacks for $5. This limited-time offer is available now through January 6 at participating Pilot locations.
- Seasonal coffee lineup: Festive coffee flavors including bourbon pecan, Campo Sur Brazilian, white chocolate candy cane hot chocolate, mocha cold brew and peppermint mocha creamer.
- Holiday gift guide: The guide includes items such as hoodies, knit beanies, soft socks and travel blankets; Pilot’s annual holiday elf plush and toys from favorite movies; Pilot’s fan-favorite bagged bourbon pecan coffee beans, limited-edition drinks and travel mugs; car gear such as jump starters, dash cams and speakers; festive treats; and Pilot gift cards and ornaments.
Spinx is hosting a giveaway from November 24-30, giving customers the daily chance to win a share of $100,000 in fuel savings through the company’s app.
From Thanksgiving (November 27) through November 30, Onvo will offer one free any-size hot or iced coffee through its app, the retailer said in a statement. That promotion will immediately be followed by 99 cent any-size hot or iced coffee through the month of December. Also in December, Onvo will begin offering a limited-edition Vermont Maple Nut coffee.
“At Onvo, we’re always looking for ways to make our guests’ journeys a little brighter,” said Harman Aulakh, vice president of marketing at Onvo. “Black Friday and the holiday season bring a lot of hustle and bustle, and we want to offer something simple that brings travelers a bit of comfort. Free coffee Thanksgiving weekend followed by 99-cent coffee all December long is our way of saying thank you to the communities and customers we serve.”
Wawa announced its holiday flavors with a line of lattes and smoothies in peppermint cookies and cream, peppermint mocha and a new snickerdoodle flavor. Additionally, the retailer has brought back its limited-edition holiday blend coffee, which the Wawa website said features holiday flavors of molasses, ginger, cinnamon and clove.
Wawa’s holiday shop is open online, with new products like a Wawa Store brick set, Wawa coffee cup string lights, holiday apparel and more.
In Texas, Kent Kwik is celebrating Thanksgiving by offering its customers a free cup of coffee on the day of (November 28). The deal includes hot or iced coffee. “This is our way of saying thank you for choosing Kent Kwik,” the company said in a newsletter.
For Black Friday this week, Royal Farms is giving rewards members one free any-size beverage (hot or cold) on Friday, November 28. In addition to the free beverage, Royal Farms is offering members exclusive deals on its food items, including two hot-to-go sandwiches for $5 and an 8-piece mixed or 10-piece dark chicken box for $15.
Friendly Express is doing a 12 days of giveaways event through its mobile app starting December 1. Customers can “unwrap” a new prize daily for the first 12 days of the month. Later in December, Friendly Express will roll out a special week of year-long giveaways, offering customers the opportunity to win grand prizes including coffee for a year and pizza for a year, the company said.
“Our goal this holiday season is to give back to the communities we serve and bring fun, exciting rewards to our loyal customers,” said Gabe Manning, director of operations at Friendly Express. “By using the Friendly Express app, customers can unwrap something special all month long.”
7-Eleven is offering more holiday deals this season—customers can get two pizza slices and a 20 oz Coca-Cola for $5 at 7-Eleven, Speedway and Stripes stores, plus a $2 breakfast sandwich with any hot coffee purchase (available to 7Rewards and Speedy Rewards members). Starting December 3, 7-Eleven will also offer Dollar Days savings with $1 deals on 7-Select snacks, beverages and treats.
Raise the Roost restaurants are offering a buy one, get one free deal on chicken sandwiches and chicken biscuits. Speedy Café locations are offering $5 one-topping large pizzas.
Other retailers including Weigel’s, Sheetz and Yesway are also offering holiday deals this season.
