Pilot Announces Chicken Wing Day Deals

Pilot is gearing up for National Chicken Wing Day on July 29 by offering a special in-app deal. Customers who order on the Pilot app can get five jumbo wings for $5.

“Pilot is giving our guests a delicious reason to celebrate National Chicken Wing Day. Whether you're a fan of classic wings, crave a little spice or can't resist a sweet-and-smoky glazed flavor, National Chicken Wing Day is the perfect reason to stop by Pilot and treat yourself to a wing-worthy meal,” Pilot said.

The retailer said its wings are normally available in 5-, 7-, 9- and 12-count servings and are available in a variety of flavors: mild jumbo wings, spicy jumbo wings and seasonal and sauced wing options. The current seasonal flavor is Honey Bourbon BBQ.

Last week, 7-Eleven announced it was gearing up for National Chicken Finger Day on July 27 and National Chicken Wing Day on July 29 with limited-time offers, including $1 chicken tenders and wings at participating Raise the Roost and Speedy Café locations inside 7-Eleven, Speedway and Stripes stores.

“Last year, 7-Eleven customers purchased nearly 1.9 million wings on National Chicken Wing Day, proving they really can fly (off the shelves). This year, 7-Eleven is giving fans even more reasons to flock to stores for limited-time offers,” the retailer said.

The deals feature:

• $1 Chicken Tenders and Wings at Raise the Roost: “Double up on chicken celebrations at Raise the Roost restaurants with single chicken tenders or traditional bone-in chicken wings for just $1 each at participating locations. Available classic, spicy or saucy, each bite brings hand-breaded goodness and finger-licking flavor to the national chicken holiday lineup.”
• $5 Wing Packs at Speedy Cafe: “Keeping the good bites coming all summer long, Speedy Rewards members can satisfy their crispy cravings with an 8-piece order of boneless wings or 5-piece order of bone-in wings for just $5 at participating Speedy Café locations.”
• 10 Wings for $8 on 7NOW Delivery: “Get 10 wings delivered for only $8 with the 7NOW Delivery app. Sauce them up with ranch, barbecue, buffalo or marinara.”

In the QSR space, Burger King this month rolled out two new chicken sandwich additions to its lineup: the Loaded Jalapeño Original Chicken Sandwich and the Club Original Chicken Sandwich.

Over at Jollibee, the QSR recently launched its all-new Jollibee chicken nuggets, made with 100% all-white meat chicken. “Every bite offers a satisfying, crispy crunch on the outside while remaining tender and juicy on the inside. Fans can also explore exciting flavor combinations by pairing Jollibee's chicken nuggets with the brand's iconic gravy or one of five other dipping sauces for even more flavor with every bite,” it said.
