Chipotle Opens First Mexico Location
Plus, Burger King rolled out two new chicken sandwiches, and Jollibee rolled out chicken nuggets.

Chipotle Mexican Grill recently opened its first Chipotle restaurant in Mexico in San Pedro Garza García, Nuevo León, part of the Monterrey metropolitan area, in partnership with Alsea.
“This restaurant is the first location to open under the development agreement Chipotle and Alsea announced in April 2025. Building on this market entry, Chipotle and Alsea plan to open additional restaurants in Nuevo León later this year and expand into Mexico City in 2027,” the QSR said.
Burger King this month rolled out two new chicken sandwich additions to its lineup: the Loaded Jalapeño Original Chicken Sandwich and the Club Original Chicken Sandwich.
The two new innovations are joining the menu for a limited time:
- Loaded Jalapeño Original Chicken Sandwich: “The beloved classic gets a spicy twist, featuring creamy jalapeño sauce, crispy and pickled jalapeños, crispy onions, lettuce, tomatoes and American cheese, layered on the signature long white meat chicken patty and iconic elongated sesame seed bun.”
- Club Chicken Original Chicken Sandwich: “A familiar but elevated take on the original, featuring crispy bacon, melted Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and creamy mayonnaise, stacked on the signature long white meat chicken patty and iconic elongated sesame seed bun.”
Over at Jollibee, the QSR recently launched its all-new Jollibee chicken nuggets, made with 100% all-white meat chicken. “Every bite offers a satisfying, crispy crunch on the outside while remaining tender and juicy on the inside. Fans can also explore exciting flavor combinations by pairing Jollibee's chicken nuggets with the brand's iconic gravy or one of five other dipping sauces for even more flavor with every bite,” it said.
The chicken nuggets are available in 5-piece, 8-piece, 15-piece and 30-piece options, and are served in their own mini buckets.
