The USA Today 2026 Top Workplaces list features an “elite group of companies that have created exceptional, people-first work environments,” according to USA Today, and several convenience stores made the list this year based on employee surveys.
Georgia-based Parker’s Kitchen made the list for the second time after appearing on the 2024 list. The company said it participates bi-annually in the awards program.
“We’re incredibly honored to be named a USA Today Top Workplace for the second time and are thrilled to celebrate this prestigious honor during our milestone 50th anniversary,” said Parker’s Kitchen Founder and Executive Chairman Greg Parker. “Our hard-working team members are truly the key to our success over the past five decades. Every day, they help us provide fast, fresh, friendly service to our customers and share our commitment to giving back to the communities we serve in transformative ways.”
Indiana-based Family Express was also named a 2026 USA Today Top Workplace.
“This recognition is especially meaningful because it comes directly from our coworkers,” said Alex Olympidis, president of operations. “At Family Express, we’ve always believed that if you take care of your team, good things are sure to follow. This award reflects the strength of our culture, the pride our associates take in their work and the relationships they build every day with our guests and each other.”
Family Express said that as it celebrates its 50th anniversary, this national recognition highlights a milestone moment in its continued growth. With new store openings planned across Indiana and ongoing investments in training, development and technology, Family Express remains focused on creating opportunities for advancement while preserving the close-knit culture that has been central to its success since 1975.
