7-Eleven Ignites 4th of July With New Menu Items

New items include chicken nuggets, limited edition taquitos and breakfast pizza.

7-Eleven announced a range of new hot menu items and beverages “ideal for any summer adventure.” The new menu additions are available at 7-Eleven, Speedway, and Stripes stores.

The new offerings include:

  • Chicken nuggets: For the first time ever, 7-Eleven is serving chicken nuggets, which it said are “perfect for dipping into its zesty ranch, spicy buffalo or tangy BBQ sauces.”
  • Breakfast skillet taquito: Packed with scrambled eggs, savory pork sausage, bell peppers, onions, and melty cheddar cheese.
  • Philly cheesesteak taquito: Available for a limited time, the Philly cheesesteak taquito features steak strips, beef crumbles, caramelized onions, roasted peppers, and cheddar cheese.
  • Personal breakfast pizza: The retailer’s first personal pizza available for delivery via 7NOW Delivery is a 5-inch personal breakfast pizza, which features a biscuit crust topped with gravy, sausage, bacon, ham, scrambled eggs, and a blend of mozzarella and cheddar cheese.
  • 7-Select zero sugar juice and tea: New beverages include zero sugar sweet tea, zero sugar kiwi strawberry, and zero sugar fruit punch.

7-Eleven noted that it’s running deals on a couple of the new items—customers can purchase two taquitos for $3 and any two of the zero sugar, 23.9-ounce bottles for $2.50.

The retailer also collaborated with Hostess to give consumers two treats in one: A limited-edition Hostess Twinkies with cherry Slurpee flavored filling. The Twinkies feature “fluffy, spongy cake and lightly whipped Cherry Slurpee-flavored crème filling.”

The treats are available exclusively at select 7-Eleven, Speedway, and Stripes stores nationwide from now through mid-August in a two-count single-serve package.

Last month, 7-Eleven and Drumstick partnered to create a Drumstick Slurpee blue raspberry vanilla cone. Inspired by the Slurpee drink at 7-Eleven, this creation introduces “a vibrant blue raspberry layer topped with delicious blue razz sauce ripples and candy bits.”
