Starbucks this month announced its Spring 2026 menu, which will be available in stores beginning March 3. New to the menu is the Toasted Coconut Cream Cold Brew and Toasted Coconut Latte, “with toasted coconut syrup soon to be available year-round. For a limited time, the Iced Ube Coconut Macchiato will also join the menu, bringing a vibrant twist to spring with its creamy layers and bold flavor,” Starbucks said.

Ube is a purple yam native to Southeast Asia, with a sweet, nutty and vanilla-like flavor. It is commonly used in desserts. The flavor began trending in 2024, when T. Hasegawa named it the flavor of the year, along with other global flavors.

The coffee QSR is also bringing back its lavender drink options for spring. “Customers can enjoy the new Iced Lavender Cream Chai, as well as returning favorites such as the Iced Lavender Cream Matcha, Iced Lavender Latte and Lavender Crème Frappuccino blended beverage.”

Dunkin’ recently unveiled its Valentine’s Day menu, which launched in stores this week. This lineup includes a variety of new drinks:

  • Heart Eyes Daydream Refresher: “Strawberry Dragonfruit Refresher with blueberry flavor and oat milk, topped with sweet cold foam.”
  • Chocolate Covered Strawberry Daydream Refresher: “Strawberry Dragonfruit Refresher with oat milk, finished with a decadent chocolate cold foam.”
  • Blush Spritz Refresher: “Strawberry Dragonfruit Refresher topped with sparkling water for a crisp, bubbly twist.”
  • Toxic Ex-Presso Cloud Latte: “Espresso with mocha swirl and raspberry flavor, finished with chocolate cold foam.”
  • Buff Chai: “Chai syrup combined with protein milk, available hot or iced, delivering 15 grams of protein in a medium beverage.”

Dunkin’s menu also features returning donuts, such as the seasonal heart-shaped donuts, including the Brownie Batter Classic Donut, “filled with chocolatey, brownie-batter-flavored buttercreme and finished with chocolate icing and sprinkles, and the Cupid’s Choice Classic Donut, filled with Bavarian Kreme, topped with strawberry flavored icing and festive sprinkles.”

Over at Stewart’s Shops, the retailer is also getting in the spirit for Valentine’s Day with the launch of its Sweetheart Shake. “Treat yourself or someone special to this limited-edition treat, made with our Cherry Loves Chocolate ice cream, at your local Stewart’s Shop. This flavorful, creamy cherry milkshake has dark chocolatey flakes and pieces of red cherries, drizzled with chocolate inside,” the retailer said.

T. Hasegawa’s 2026 Food and Beverage Flavor Trends Report named dark sweet cherry as the 2026 Flavor of the Year.

According to the report, dark sweet cherry will be a standout flavor in 2026 due to its “striking deep red color, intense sweetness and impressive versatility. With a complex flavor profile described as 'juicy, rich and tart,' dark sweet cherry is a nostalgic favorite for many North American consumers familiar with varieties such as Chelan, Sweetheart, Lapin, Stella, Bing and more,” the report stated.
