Burger King to Hire 60,000 New Team Members
Plus, Starbucks and KFC’s Saucy continue to roll out innovative drink lineups.

Burger King has launched a nationwide hiring search aiming to add up to 60,000 new team members—from entry level roles to management positions—to its nearly 6,500 restaurants across the U.S.
The QSR said the push comes on the heels of one of the brand's “most transformative periods in years, marked by modernized restaurants, improved operations and initiatives that put guests at the forefront.” The changes have led to “more guests to BK restaurants across the country, driving an immediate need for people with a passion for friendliness and hospitality to serve them.”
Earlier this year, the brand changed its Whopper recipe for the first time in nearly a decade, which was a change it said was driven directly by guest feedback.
Over at Starbucks, the brand has launched another spring menu update, with its new permanent Mango Strawberry Refreshers, available in classic, lemonade and coconut milk versions.
Also new to the menu are the Mango Strawberry Energy Refresher, Mango Strawberry Lemonade Energy Refresher, Mango Dream Energy Refresher and a Mango Cold Foam option to be added on top of beverages.
Earlier this season, Starbucks launched a spring menu featuring a Toasted Coconut Cream Cold Brew and Toasted Coconut Latte.
Meanwhile KFC’s Saucy, its store prototype where “sauce and dips are the star,” is expanding its flavor-forward experience with the introduction of DRIPS by Pepsi crafted beverages, reported QSR Magazine.
“The four-beverage lineup is now available at all 10 existing Saucy locations, with five additional restaurants opening this year set to feature the offering. A fifth beverage—Tropical Energy Escape—will be exclusive to the flagship Carrollwood location in Tampa, Florida,” QSR Magazine said.
The DRIPS by Pepsi lineup is available in 16-ounce servings, with each drink incorporating layered flavors and mix-ins such as caramel cold foam, jalapeño and popping boba to deliver a customizable, flavor-driven experience.
- Pepsi Zero Sugar Salted Caramel Fizz: Pepsi Zero Sugar with salted caramel and chocolate, topped with caramel cold foam.
- Tropicana Rainbow Splash Lemonade: Tropicana Lemonade and Starry, blended with passionfruit and pineapple, served over blue raspberry popping boba.
- Mountain Dew Chili Chill: Mountain Dew and Tropicana Lemonade with pineapple, jalapeño and mint, finished with Tajín.
- PynkRaze Pop: Tropicana Lemonade and Starry with passionfruit and pineapple, served over dragon fruit popping boba.
- Tropical Energy Escape: Orange pineapple energy blend with passionfruit and blackberry, layered with coconut water and coconut cream.
