North Carolina-based Minuteman Food Mart is launching its newest limited time offer—the Carolina Combo—available this July at participating Minuteman Kitchen locations,” according to a press release sent to NACS.
“It’s backyard BBQ flavor without the hassle,” said Jim Chasar, foodservice category manager. “We wanted to give our guests the taste of a cookout, with the speed and value they expect from Minuteman.”
The combo costs $5.99, and comes with a Carolina Pulled Pork Sandwich, Carolina Kettle Chips and a 20oz Cheerwine—the “perfect trio of smoky, salty and sweet.”
“Crafted with regional pride, the Carolina Combo brings together iconic local favorites in one crave-worthy meal. Whether you’re heading to the lake, on your lunch break, or fueling up for a summer road trip, the Carolina Combo delivers bold flavor, fast service, and unbeatable value—all with that signature Minuteman friendliness,” the retailer said.
The retailer also recently held a grand re-opening of Minuteman No. 64 in Whiteville, North Carolina, the retailer told NACS. The retailer recently acquired the site and “has fully rebranded it under the Minuteman banner in partnership with Marathon Petroleum.” The location also features a drive-thru.
“We’re excited to bring this location back to life and reintroduce it to the Whiteville community,” said Ed Bitondo, vice president, convenience store operations. “Whiteville already feels like home for us, and we’re proud to continue expanding our footprint here with the service, experience and values our guests know and trust.”
Back in May, Minuteman launched a redesigned mobile app and new brand icon, “marking the start of a refreshed era for the company and its loyal guests across the Carolinas.”
