EG America convenience stores are introducing “new grab-and-go food options that are quick, delicious and easy on the wallet—perfect for travelers on the move,” EG America said in a press release sent to NACS.
Available at all banners under EG America is the LTO Chicken Fajita Tornado. “These Cheesy Chicken Fajita Tornados combine tender charbroiled chicken strips with a melty blend of cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses, plus green and red bell peppers and savory onions,” the retailer said.
Customers can buy one for $2.29 or two for $4.
Also joining the lineup at EG America’s Cumberland Farms North and Fastrac stores is a new snack wrap. “Try out this new snack wrap made fresh featuring homestyle or buffalo chicken wrapped in a flour tortilla with melty American cheese.”
Pricing is one snack wrap for $2.49 or two for $4.
“We know summer travel is all about convenience, value and of course great flavors,” said Mendy Meriwether, vice president of food, dispensed beverage and QSR. “We’re thrilled to serve up fast, flavorful and budget-friendly bites that keep our guests energized and smiling—no matter where the road leads.”
EG America said that in addition to several new food offerings, guests will also find a new beverage offering. Starting in July, a Sour Patch Kids – Watermelon flavored Hyperfreeze will be available at stores that carry the Hyperfreeze line of frozen beverages.
Earlier this month, EG America announced it is teaming up with the American Cancer Society (ACS) to raise money for life-saving programs, research and services that will help patients and families impacted by cancer. Throughout July, guests at all EG America-operated convenience stores can donate $1, $5 or an amount of their choosing towards the American Cancer Society.
