The first round of the 2025 Stanley Cup Playoffs is here and 7-Eleven Inc. is “rallying behind [its] hometown team, the Dallas Stars, with a nationwide fuel promotion,” according to an email statement sent to NACS.
To celebrate the Dallas Stars reaching the Stanley Cup Playoffs, 7-Eleven is offering 11 cents off per gallon for each round the Stars advance at participating 7-Eleven locations nationally.
The retailer also said that if the Stars make it to the championship, customers can get 25 cents off per gallon. Customers can text STARS to 711711 to receive the offer.
Customers that get in on the game early could stack up to 58 cents off per gallon if the Stars make it to the 4th round, 7-Eleven said.
Speaking of sports, earlier this month Circle K announced a new national partnership with Minor League Baseball (MiLB), which will make the retailer the “Official Convenience Store of Minor League Baseball.”
During the 2025 season, the Circle K brand “will be integrated into the MiLB in-stadium experience through in-game video board assets at most MiLB ballparks and signage behind home plate in 37 MiLB ballparks. Circle K will also serve as the presenting partner of ‘The Baseball Traveler,’ an ongoing content series that highlights the best of the Minor League baseball experience and will include newsletters and road trip storytelling from MiLB.com reporter Ben Hill as he makes his way around the country visiting ballparks throughout the 2025 season.”
Plus, last month RaceTrac announced a partnership with the Atlanta Braves. RaceTrac said this is the 12th straight year it has partnered with the Major League Baseball franchise. The partnership will also now include Gulf Oil, which RaceTrac acquired in 2023.
