It’s August, and that means it's time to prepare for fall flavors. Numerous coffee QSRs are rolling out their fall menus.

Tim Hortons announced that pumpkin spice season has arrived at the chain, along with other returning fall favorites. Some fall menu items will be available tomorrow, August 21, while others will be in restaurants on September 18.

There are two new items this year:

  • Caramel apple latte: A creamy espresso-based beverage with a fusion of natural apple, caramel, and cinnamon flavors, finished with whipped topping and a caramel drizzle. Available iced or hot.
  • Chai latte blend: The new Tims Chai Lattes have a combination of black tea, bold exotic spices, honey, and vanilla flavor. Available iced or hot.

Returning to Tim Hortons this fall are the pumpkin spice iced capp, pumpkin spice latte, pumpkin spice cold brew with cold foam, pumpkin spice donut, pumpkin spice muffin, maple cinnamon sugar cold brew, and the maple waffle sandwich.

Caribou Coffee announced a “fresh approach to its fall menu,” with its offerings featuring a variety of Honeycrisp apple drinks. Starting Thursday, August 29, guests can choose from an extensive menu of 23 different Honeycrisp apple and pumpkin beverages.

"We’re thrilled to offer our guests an extensive fall menu that celebrates the flavors of the fall season," said Matt Reiter, senior vice president of product and procurement at Caribou Coffee. "The addition of our new Honeycrisp apple drinks perfectly complements our beloved offering of handcrafted pumpkin beverages. With options like the Honeycrisp apple caramel high rise and pumpkin espresso shaker, our new fall menu delivers an authentic taste of the season, no matter which flavor our guests prefer."

Some of Caribou’s fall menu items include its Honeycrisp apple caramel espresso shaker, Honeycrisp apple energy drink, Honeycrisp apple nitro high rise, pumpkin espresso shaker, pumpkin white mocha, and more.

Krispy Kreme brought back its pumpkin spice cake donut and its pumpkin spice latte. The donut can be purchased individually or as a specialty dozen, while the latte is made fresh-to-order, available hot, iced, or frozen, and topped with whipped cream and pumpkin spice seasoning.

Dunkin added a pumpkin spice iced latte limited seasonal offering to its Dunkin’ Spiked drinks, available in grocery and package outlets. The Dunkin’ Spiked pumpkin spice latte “enhances everyone’s go-to fall beverage in a ready-to-drink format,” the company said.

On August 1, 7-Eleven launched its fall menu in stores. The retailer brought back its pumpkin cream cold brew, pumpkin spice coffee, and pumpkin spice latte and is testing out a pumpkin spice Slurpee in select stores.
