To celebrate National Burrito Day, which is on April 4, Maverik and Kum & Go are launching their first combined food promotion for loyalty members—an all-day 50% burrito discount.
Rewards members of both brands will receive half off a burrito purchase, and Maverik’s upgraded Nitro card holders will receive one free burrito. The deal will be available across all Maverik and Kum & Go stores that feature breakfast and lunch burritos on their menu throughout their combined 20-state footprint.
The press release states: “Maverik pioneered freshly prepared c-store breakfast burritos with the M.O.A.B, ‘Mother of All Burritos,’ a hearty burrito containing black forest ham, applewood smoked bacon, Maverik’s own country sausage, scrambled eggs, tater tots and natural three-cheese blend.” Breakfast burrito offerings at Kum & Go include options like the Green Chile Queso Sausage Burrito and hardwood smoked meats in the Breakfast Brisket Burritos. Both banners also sell lunch burritos in brisket, beefy cheese, steak and potato and buffalo chicken ranch varieties.
The promotion comes shortly after Maverik upgraded its rewards program for Kum & Go members last week. “This enhancement will create unity with Maverik’s raving fans’ favorite rewards program, the Adventure Club, ranked the top c-store loyalty program in Newsweek’s America’s Best Loyalty Programs 2024,” said Joey Hobson, chief marketing officer of Maverik. “The improvement will highlight a similar experience across both brands’ rewards programs, so whether shopping at Kum & Go or Maverik, the experience our customers come to know and love will be comparable.”
