KFC Introduces Saucy Nuggets

KFC is offering new Saucy Nuggets, with five flavors available at KFC restaurants beginning today, April 1. Instead of coming with a sauce on the side, these nuggets are already “dripping in one of five delicious sauce flavors,” according to KFC.

The five sauce flavors are:

• Honey Sriracha: A new sauce that features a blend of red chili peppers, garlic, and honey, “playing into the demand for sweet heat flavor.”
• Korean BBQ: KFC describes this new flavor as “a sweet and savory umami sauce,” with soy sauce, garlic, sugar, and sesame.
• Sticky Chicky Sweet ’n Sour Sauce: This new sauce is described as “a balanced combination of sweet and tangy flavors, including pineapple, garlic, vinegar, and chili.”
• Nashville Hot: KFC stated that it is bringing this sauce back, describing the sauce as “smoky, spicy and crispy, with an even ratio of flavor and smokiness to heat.”
• Georgia Gold: The QSR is also bringing back this honey-mustard style BBQ sauce, made with vinegar, honey, and savory seasoning.

The QSR announced that KFC customers can get a free 10-piece saucy nuggets when they spend $10 or more on a purchase online or through the KFC app.

KFC also debuted a new dessert, Apple Pie Poppers. The company described the treat as “everything you love about apple pie in a fun bite,” with apple pie filling “wrapped in a buttery and flaky crust.”
