Website is offering $1,000 for Buc-ee’s snacks taste-testers.

Financial advice website FinanceBuzz announced it is looking for someone to sample 25 of Buc-ee’s popular snacks. Those interested can apply for the role, but they must live near or be willing to travel to one of Buc-ee’s 50 plus locations across southern United States.
FinanceBuzz will give the courageous customer a shopping list and two weeks to complete the tasting. The snack solicitor will give the lucky applicant $1,000 for their trouble along with $250 to fund the sampling.
Some of the potential snacks to be tasted are:
- Buc-ee’s Beaver Nuggets
- Sweet and savory kolaches
- Hippo tacos
- Barbecue sandwiches
- Buc-ee’s lemon crisps
- Homemade fudge
- Buc-ee’s gummi bears
- Banana pudding
- Biscuits and gravy
USA Today reports that FinanceBuzz will be writing a story about the experience and expects reviews and pictures from the endeavor. Applications are due September 11, and a winner will be chosen September 18 by e-mail.
In addition to Buc-ee’s continued growth with new stores in Virginia, Tennessee and its first in Ohio, NACS Daily recently reported on the Texas-based c-store’s third-party online merchandise store. A man based out of Texas opened an unaffiliated Buc-ee’s merch store reselling popular snacks and products that were previously unavailable online.
