Buc-ee’s has opened the world’s largest gas station in Sevierville, Tennessee, reports TODAY. The 74,000 square-foot location has 120 gas pumps and employs more than 350 people.

The new store includes Buc-ee’s signature brisket sandwiches and other barbecue items made fresh at the location, as well as a plethora of other items from fresh fudge to bathing suits.

"We slow-smoke [the brisket], we season it, and we get it out to the store and slice it up fresh right in front," Randy Pauly, the director of barbecue operations at the new Buc-ee's, said on TODAY.

A recent survey by Payless Power found that customers spent an average of 20 minutes and $69.95 per visit to their favorite gas station, so Buc-ee’s is leaning into the trend of entertaining c-store customers for longer. The survey also found that customers prioritize cleanliness, prices, food quality and customer service when visiting their favorite c-store. Buc-ee’s was No. 1 in customer service in the survey and also took the top spot as a Forbes' Customer Experience All-Star in February.

Although the Tennessee location is currently the world’s largest gas station, it won’t be for long. Buc-ee’s is opening an even bigger location in Luling, Texas.
