7-Eleven Says Yes to Taquitos for Breakfast

Customers can pair a taquito with any sized iced coffee for $1.

IRVING, Texas—7-Eleven is launching a new maple-flavored sausage, egg and cheese taquito, available all day at participating 7-Eleven, Speedway and Stripes stores, according to a news release.

7-Eleven's breakfast taquito is made with whole eggs, pork sausage and cheddar cheese sauce coated with a maple-flavored batter. Customers can pair a taquito with any sized iced coffee for $1.

"Here at 7-Eleven, we're always looking for creative ways to expand our menu and cater to our customers' food cravings in ways that maximize convenience," said Robin Murphy, senior director of fresh foods at 7-Eleven. "Now, with our maple-flavored sausage taquito, customers have a craveworthy on-the-go breakfast at their fingertips, morning, noon or night."

For 7Rewards members, each purchase of a breakfast taquito comes with 100 bonus points. Loyalty members can also enjoy three of their favorite grill items and a Big Gulp drink for $3. Customers also can order the new breakfast taquito through the 7NOW delivery app. 7NOW Gold Pass subscribers with a basket totaling at least $10 will receive additional benefits including the option to select a free product, such as a free Slurpee drink. Alcohol delivery, including beer, wine, and liquor, is available in select markets to customers age 21 and older.
