ALEXANDRIA, Va.—Become an expert in your field by successfully completing three of the five NACS Executive Education programs. “The NACS Masters of Convenience designation is awarded to convenience retailers who complete at least three of five Executive Education programs, with no time limit required,” said Henry Armour, Ph.D., president and CEO of NACS.
This year, NACS recognized the first recipients at the NACS Leadership Forum in February. The six recipients include Pablo Andonie, AMPM Latam; Jose Chua Ang Jr., Philippine Seven Corp.; Lisa Dell'Alba, Square One Markets Inc.; Francis Santos Medina, Philippine Seven Corp.; Joyce B Pingel, Kum & Go L.C.; and Markus Schroeder, Shell Deutschland Oil.
“I’ve had such a great experience attending [these] programs,” said Andonie, president of AMPM Centro America. “They’ve helped me better understand the industry, trends and how to plan for the future. I’m eager to implement what I’ve learned and am looking forward to sending members of my team to participate as well.”
The NACS Master of Convenience designation acknowledges the hard work and investment NACS members have made in their personal leadership development. For the designation, NACS will retroactively recognize attendee participation to the 2017 programs.
“Each program has been collaboratively designed by business experts, retail leaders and Ivy League professors to provide an exceptional and unique experience for NACS members,” Armour said. “And treated holistically, they act as a customized, convenience industry MBA—forging the nimble, adaptive, forward-thinking leaders we need.”
Because of the coronavirus pandemic, NACS moved all of its Executive Education programs to the fall. Registration for the 2020 Executive Education programs is now open.
