Kicking off the summer series is the NACS Financial Leadership Program, which runs July 14-19 at The Wharton School on the campus of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Endowed by Cash Depot, the leadership program helps attendees expand their financial insights and, in turn, provide greater value to their organizations.
Geared toward finance executives who are looking to take their department to the next level of sophistication and strategy by building a skill set that will go beyond the classroom and positively affect an organization’s bottom line, the NACS Financial Leadership Program is designed for these target audiences:
- CEOs of small retail chains (25-50 stores)
- Controllers in medium-size retail chains (51-150 stores)
- Rising accounting and finance executives in larger retail chains (151+ stores)
Next up is the NACS Marketing Leadership Program, which runs July 21-26 at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in Evanston, Ill. Endowed by Frito Lay, Keurig Dr Pepper and Nielsen, the program will enhance the knowledge of attendees in topics like analytics, branding and consumer experience. The NACS Marketing Leadership Program is designed for managers and directors, as well as CEOs and analysts.
Capping the summer is the NACS Executive Leadership Program, which runs August 4-8 at the Dyson School at Cornell University in Ithaca, N.Y. Endowed by RAI Trade Marketing Services Company, the program will give attendees the skills needed to successfully respond to the challenges of a competitive marketplace.
Individuals preparing to take on key leadership roles in NACS retail member companies should attend the NACS Executive Leadership Program.
