Parker’s Kitchen Unveils Florida Expansion Plan
Plus, LV Petroleum is set to acquire two travel centers; and Chester’s Chicken comes to Yatco.

Georgia-based Parker’s Kitchen is preparing to open its first Florida store in late October in Yulee, according to a press release sent to NACS.
The store is located at 75970 William Burgess Blvd., near the intersection of I-95 and Hwy. 200. The retailer also said that six Florida sites are expected to be under construction in the first quarter of 2027, with more to follow. The company’s goal is to open 12 new retail stores in Florida before the end of 2027, including one truck stop.
“Entering Florida represents an important step in Parker’s Kitchen’s long-term growth strategy,” said Parker’s Kitchen CEO John Rudolfs. “As we celebrate our 50th anniversary, we’re continuing to build on a strong foundation by expanding into markets where we see meaningful opportunities for growth. North Florida is a natural extension of our footprint, and we look forward to introducing Parker’s Kitchen to a new group of customers while delivering the quality, service and value that have driven our success for five decades.”
LV Petroleum has entered an agreement to acquire two travel centers, located in Tennessee and Texas, for $36.7 million, according to a press release sent to NACS by Sands Investment Group, who brokered the deal.
The group said the transaction involved the sale of the business and the underlying real estate, with the properties delivered free and clear of fuel contracts.
In Massachusetts, Yatco is adding Chester’s Chicken to one of its Worcester locations. The opening comes as Chester’s continues to expand through partnerships with convenience retailers, it said.
“For over 30 years, Yatco fuel stations have been serving our community,” said Walter Thomas, Yatco category manager. “We’re excited to bring Chester’s to Yatco and give our customers another great reason to stop in. We want our stores to be a place people think of for a good meal, whether they’re grabbing lunch during the workday or picking up dinner for the family.”
