With the holidays around the corner, Rutter’s is “bringing something extra to the holiday season” with the release of its Hard Eggnog, a rich, creamy beverage inspired by the company’s traditional eggnog, the retailer said in a press release sent to NACS.
Available now at all Rutter’s Pennsylvania locations, the retailer said the seasonal offering features a collectible bottle and flavors that capture the spirit of the holidays.
“With an aroma of sweet vanilla and warm spices, the beverage delivers notes of vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg, complemented by a smooth, velvety finish. The result is an indulgent take on a familiar seasonal favorite, designed for holiday gatherings and celebrations with friends and family,” Rutter’s said.
The limited-time release will be available through the end of December, while supplies last.
“We wanted to take a holiday classic that generations have grown to love and give it a little something extra,” said Joe Eccker, category manager overseeing alcohol for Rutter’s. “This is a celebration of timeless flavors, warm memories and the joy of sharing the season with your loved ones.”
Rutter’s also recently brought back its Chocolate Peanut Butter Milk to all Rutter’s locations.
“The fan-favorite flavor left the milk cooler last year to make room for new flavors to take their turn in the spotlight. After giving Cookies & Cream Milk its time to shine, Rutter’s is excited to welcome Chocolate Peanut Butter Milk back to its dairy lineup,” the retailer said.
In other Rutter’s news, the retailer recently launched its new ‘Take Home Your Happy Hour’ promotion, which offers 10% off select beer and wine purchases during designated happy hour times.
Customers at Pennsylvania Rutter’s locations can get 10% off 12-packs and 15-packs of beer and 750-mL, 1.5-liter and 3-liter bottles of wine. The promotion is available from 4:00 p.m.–7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 12 p.m.-3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
