Weigel’s Introduces ‘Spotify Wrapped’-Like Experience for Rewards Members

Plus, the retailer introduced its Collector’s Cups series in honor of its 95th anniversary.

Tennessee-based Weigel's is adding more personalization to its MyWeigel's Rewards loyalty program with individual digital recaps and communications, giving guests a view into their relationship with the brand through interactive, data-driven experiences similar in style to a "Spotify Wrapped" summary.

The retailer said the feature is part of a new partnership with Blings and PDI Technologies.

Monthly statements, birthday messaging and membership anniversary communications will now include individualized insights such as points earned, rewards redeemed, visit frequency, fuel savings, Weigel's Wednesdays attended, Milk Club progress toward a free gallon, favorite categories and other loyalty activity unique to each guest, according to the retailer.

"This is another step in evolving MyWeigel's Rewards from a discount platform into a true relationship platform," said Nick Triantafellou, director of marketing & merchandising at Weigel's. "Guests do not just want rewards anymore—they want recognition, personalization and experiences that reflect their engagement with the brand. This partnership helps us deliver that at scale."

Weigel's also recently announced it is rolling out its Collector's Cup series in honor of its 95th anniversary.

"Released in strategic drops throughout the summer, each collectible cup represents a distinct era of Weigel's history, featuring designs inspired by the company's branding, culture and visual identity from across the decades. The Collector's Cup series serves as both a nostalgic tribute to Weigel's nearly century-long presence in East Tennessee and a strategic engagement driver within the company's broader anniversary campaign," Weigel's said.

The cups will be offered exclusively to MyWeigel's Rewards members during designated promotional windows throughout the summer and will be available free with the purchase of a dispensed beverage.

The Collector's Cup program is integrated into Weigel's larger Summer 95 campaign, which combines storytelling, loyalty gamification, sweepstakes and value-driven promotions under the company's anniversary theme: Just Getting Started.
