Sheetz is bringing back its “crunchy tacos” alongside additional Mexican-style menu items just in time for Cinco de Mayo on May 5, a spokesperson for the company told NACS.

“Back by popular demand, crunchy tacos return to the menu for a limited time … These bold, over-the-top takes on a classic taco deliver maximum crisp and flavor—and you can grab six for just $6 at all 830+ Sheetz locations,” the retailer said.

The retailer said customers can build their tacos with a variety of toppings, including taco sauce, jalapeños, sour cream, shredded cheese and lettuce; and choose from a lineup of dipping sauces like BBQ, Buffalo, nacho cheese, ranch, guacamole, salsa, Boom Boom sauce, jalapeño ranch and Buffalo garlic blitz.

Sheetz said additional Mexican-style menu items will join Sheetz’s lineup:

  • Western burrito: “This breakfast staple is coming back to Sheetz’s breakfast menu. Customers can enjoy two breakfast burritos for $6, choosing from Western, sausage or bacon varieties.”
  • Jalepeño Fryz: “This new menu item features sliced pickled jalapeños coated in seasoned panko breading, delivering a bold, flavorful heat that is fried to golden perfection.”

“At Sheetz, we’re focused on delivering quality, convenience and affordability across every part of the menu,” said Ryan Sheetz, EVP of marketing and supply chain. “With the return of fan favorites like our crunchy tacos and Western burrito, alongside new additions like jalapeño Fryz, we’re reinforcing our commitment to offering customizable, Mexican-style options with plenty of variety. It’s all part of making Sheetz the go-to destination for bold flavors whenever the craving hits, 24/7.”
