Starbucks Rolls Out More Colorful Drinks for Summer
Plus, Dunkin’ launched limited edition 48 oz. beverage buckets.

Starbucks recently announced two new summer drinks will hit the menu on June 16: the Iced Blue Coconut Matcha and the Blue Coconut Refresher.
Starbucks described the Iced Blue Coconut Matcha as: “tropical and creamy, this iced matcha blends sweet mango flavors and is finished with toasted coconut cold foam. A touch of blue spirulina lends a naturally vibrant color that complements the drink’s tropical flavors.”
The Blue Coconut Refresher is a “crisp beverage [with] coconut, strawberry and açaí flavors, hand-shaken with ice and blue spirulina.”
The drink can be customized with lemonade or coconut milk as well as customers’ preferred level of caffeine and B vitamins.
Meanwhile at Dunkin’, on May 22, Dunkin’ brought back its Iced Beverage Buckets to participating Dunkin’ locations nationwide for a limited time while supplies last.
“Perfect for beach days, road trips, backyard hangs and everything in between, these 48 oz. buckets make it easier than ever to bring your favorite Dunkin’ drink along for the ride. Guests can purchase them filled with Dunkin’s signature iced coffee or refreshers, making them the perfect sidekick for the unofficial start of summer,” Dunkin’ said.
Over at Krispy Kreme, the company teamed up with Mattel and Amazon MGM Studios for the Masters of the Universe Collection for three new doughnuts available for a limited time and a custom dozen box inspired by Masters of the Universe heroes and villains.
The doughnuts include:
- He-Man Caramel Crunch Doughnut: “a powerhouse of flavor featuring an Original Glazed doughnut dipped in red caramel icing swirled with cheesecake-flavored buttercreme, topped with graham-flavored crumble and a He-Man piece.”
- Skeletor Double Chocolate Doughnut: “a wickedly delicious, unglazed shell doughnut filled with chocolate custard, dipped in chocolate icing and chocolate cookie crumble, topped with a Skeletor piece.”
- Cringer Claw Cookie Dough Doughnut: “a roaring Original Glazed doughnut dipped and drizzled with cookie dough icing.”
