Pilot said it is hiring 10,000 new team members across its network of more than 900 travel centers to support the busy season this summer.

“Millions of travelers will take to the road this summer to explore new destinations and make memories. Alongside that, Pilot is gearing up for one of our most important times of the year: National Hiring Season,” the retailer said.

Pilot said it is hiring for a wide range of roles across its travel centers, on-site restaurants and tanker fleets, including hourly positions, leadership roles, facility maintenance technicians and fuel tanker drivers.

The retailer said that it offers employee benefits and perks like:

  • Competitive compensation: weekly pay and 401(k) retirement savings.
  • Daily perks: gas discounts, a $12 meal and beverage credit each shift for travel center team members and drivers and rewards and recognition programs.
  • Health and wellness: “low-cost, comprehensive health and well-being plans, access to 24/7 on-demand healthcare (U.S. team members) and paid time off.”
  • Growth, education and support: professional development, tuition assistance and Pilot Cares hardship assistance program.

In other recent Pilot news, last month the retailer honored Military Appreciation Month by continuing its work with the Miles of Good Foundation, an independent private foundation formed and funded by Pilot and offered exclusive weekly deals throughout May for eligible service members at its travel centers.

In recognition of Military Appreciation Month, the Miles of Good Foundation donated $125,000 to Hire Heroes USA to help provide personalized employment assistance for service members and their spouses and help them transition to the civilian workforce.
