Pennsylvania-based Rutter’s is “getting ready to turn the flavor all the way up” with the launch of its new Limited-Time Chicken menu, the retailer said in a press release sent to NACS.
“Leading the lineup is the Hot Pepperoni Pepper Jack Chicken, a flavor-packed sandwich featuring crispy fried chicken topped with pepper jack cheese, pepperoni, coleslaw and banana peppers all on a toasted sub roll,” the retailer said.
Also joining the lineup is the Nashville Hot Fried Chicken Deluxe, loaded with cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, red onion, pickles and creamy condiments on a Kaiser roll. For those who prefer a more classic approach, the Nashville Hot Fried Chicken Sandwich delivers the signature heat of its namesake seasoning paired with crisp pickles on a toasted Kaiser roll.
Rounding out the limited-time offerings is the Nashville Hot Honey Fried Chicken Wrap, combining sweet and spicy flavors.
“Our guests are always looking for exciting new flavors, and this lineup delivers exactly that,” said Philip Santini, senior director of foodservice & bar strategy at Rutter’s. “We’ve combined bold ingredients and fan-favorite flavors to create new chicken offerings that are satisfying and craveable, all made with our signature attention to quality.”
The Limited-Time Chicken Menu is available now at Rutter’s locations through in-store ordering kiosks and the Rutter’s app.
According to Datassential, the number of limited-service chicken restaurants expanded by nearly 5% in 2024, and sales jumped almost 10%. A 2025 Technomic chain report found that chicken is the second-fastest-growing restaurant category behind beverage/snack chains. The Summer of Freedom Sweepstakes gives registered rewards members the chance to win thousands of prizes through September 1, 2026.
