RaceTrac is rolling out a new lineup of food and frozen treats at participating locations beginning August 5, a spokesperson for the company told NACS.
“Spanning breakfast, lunch and anytime snacking, the lineup is headlined by an all-new Sausage Gravy Breakfast Pizza, a returning fan-favorite Bacon Cheeseburger Pizza and a RaceTrac-exclusive Takis Fuego Street Corn Tornado. The lineup arrives as guests settle back into school-year and commuting routines,” the retailer said.
The new Sausage Gravy Breakfast Pizza is made with Johnsonville sausage and features a creamy sausage gravy base topped with mozzarella, southwest-seasoned sliced sausage, diced bacon and scrambled egg ($3.29).
Also joining breakfast is the new French Toast Melt, stacking a sausage patty, egg and yellow American cheese between two slices of French toast with a sweet-and-spicy maple drizzle ($4.99).
For lunch, the returning Bacon Cheeseburger Pizza layers crumbled beef and diced bacon over a jalapeño cheese sauce and mozzarella base, finished with a tangy Thousand Island drizzle ($3.29).
The Toasted Italian Sub limited-time offer was “so popular with guests this summer” that it’s now a new everyday menu option.
At RaceTrac Travel Centers and other select locations, guests can also dig into new Spicy Peach Sauced Wings, tossed in a sweet-and-spicy peach sauce.
Snack-wise, the retailer is rolling out the new RaceTrac-exclusive Takis Fuego Street Corn Tornado wraps, featuring fiery Takis Fuego flavor and a savory street-corn-style filling in a crispy rolled tortilla ($2.29).
For dessert, through a new collaboration with STōK, Swirl World locations are “serving a bold espresso gelato guests can enjoy on its own or swirl with coconut for a tropical twist. As the season turns towards fall, RaceTrac is adding Pumpkin Pie Spice Creamer and a marshmallow topper to the coffee bar, with Cinnabon Hot Chocolate arriving in October.” Guests can also still cool off with the RaceTrac-exclusive Cherry Coke Float frozen drink.
“Our guests come to RaceTrac for bold flavor and real value, and this lineup delivers both,” said Nick McCormick, director of product development and commercialization at RaceTrac. “From a hearty new breakfast pizza to a Takis Fuego collaboration you can only get here, we built this menu around the very cravings our guests are talking about right now.”
