Onvo Supports Local World Cup Fun

Pennsylvania-based Onvo is bringing family fun to the Scranton location of the Pennsylvania World Cup Fan Zones, the retailer said in a press release sent to NACS.

Onvo said the free Scranton events will feature a large main viewing screen and four additional screens to stream matches on four dates in July at the Lackawanna County Courthouse Square. 

There will be an “Onvo Kids Zone,” which will feature an inflatable soccer game with an obstacle course and slide, the release said. The retailer’s mascot, Onvo the Owl, will be available for pictures at the event and there will be free coloring pages for children. There will also be a prize wheel for Onvo swag. 

The Scranton Fan Zone is scheduled for select times on July 4, 5, 18 and 19. 

“Scranton is home to us, so being able to show up and support an event this massive right in our backyard is incredibly exciting,” said Harman Aulakh, vice president of marketing at Onvo. “We’re deeply proud of our Pennsylvania roots, and bringing the Onvo Kids Zone to one of the state's only official fan zones is our way of giving back to our local community while welcoming the thousands of soccer fans and travelers coming to the Electric City. It’s a perfect extension of our summer campaign, adding a little extra fun and a great pit stop to everyone's journey.”

Onvo is also celebrating America’s 250^th birthday with its “The Great American Giveaway” summer sweepstakes.
