Weigel’s is updating its MyWeigel’s Rewards program with new visit-based tiers, based on monthly visit amounts, the company said. Each qualifying visit advances loyalty members through four levels: Fan, AllStar, VIP and MVP. “As members move upward, they unlock increasingly valuable monthly benefits, including free Weigel’s products, fuel savings and bonus rewards points,” Weigel’s said.

The levels are:

  • Fan: Zero to seven visits per month
  • AllStar: 8 to 12 visits per month, unlocking a free dispensed beverage and 5 cents off per gallon of fuel
  • VIP: 13 to 24 visits per month, unlocking a free dispensed beverage, 15 cents off per gallon of fuel and 500 bonus points
  • MVP: 25 or more visits per month, unlocking a free dispensed beverage, a free slice of pizza, 25 cents off per gallon of fuel and 1,000 bonus points

“Points and discounts provide meaningful value, but they do not tell the entire story of loyalty,” said Jessica Starnes, director of loyalty at Weigel’s. “Some of our guests stop by every morning for coffee, visit us on their way home or bring their families in every week. Tiers allow us to recognize that consistency and show our guests that we see and appreciate the relationship they have built with us.”

Tier rewards are available once per month, Weigel’s said.

“Weigel’s has always been built around relationships,” said Doug Yawberry, president and CEO of Weigel’s. “For 95 years, our guests have welcomed us into their routines, their communities and their families. This is our way of recognizing that loyalty and making sure the people who visit us most often feel how much their support means to us.”

Earlier this year, Weigel’s launched its redesigned app. The retailer said the new MyWeigel’s Rewards App delivers “a faster, more intuitive experience built around how guests actually shop, earn and save. The updated app reflects Weigel’s continued investment in loyalty, digital convenience and creating meaningful value at every visit.”

The company also saw record app usage from its Summer Kickoff Campaign to celebrate its 95th anniversary in April. The campaign’s first week, which included Cinco De Mayo and its associated promotions, produced the highest weekly app usage period in company history, with unique app users increasing 13% year over year and total app sessions increasing 30% year over year, the company said. It also produced a 78% increase in new loyalty member registrations.

At the 2026 NACS State of the Industry Summit, Starnes joined retailers on stage to discuss how loyalty is driving consumer purchases and serving as a differentiator. Read more in “The 24-Cent Difference” in the June 2026 issue of NACS Magazine.
