At Tri Star Energy’s White Bison Coffee locations, the retailer “is cooling off the summer season” with a new menu item: Energy Refreshers, a spokesperson for the company told NACS. Guests can choose from a variety of options, with a base of coconut milk, sparkling water or green tea:
- Yumberry Yowsa: “A juicy burst of sweet yumberry with vibrant, refreshing flavor.”
- Power Prism: “Bold açaí meets black raspberry for an energizing, fruit-forward bite.”
- Dragon Dream: “An exotic blend bursting with the bright, tropical taste of dragon fruit.”
- Orange Orbit: “Bright orange swirled with sweet peach for a sunny, citrusy finish.”
Starbucks recently launched a “small market test for handcrafted, sparkling refreshment beverages in approximately 100 coffeehouses across Austin and San Antonio, Texas and St. Louis. The test will evaluate customer demand, operational execution and the role sparkling beverages could play in our long-term refreshment strategy, while supporting our focus on menu innovation and afternoon growth,” the company said.
The trial Starbucks Spritz Collection includes:
- Sparkling Cold Brew Sour Spritz: “A sparkling fusion of coffee and citrus flavors, crafted with cold brew, lemonade, classic syrup and light bubbles, served over ice.”
- Strawberry Sunset Spritz: “A sparkling fusion of real strawberry purée, lemonade, green tea and light bubbles, served over ice.”
- Golden Peach Spritz: “A sparkling fusion of peach and citrus flavors, handcrafted with real peach fruit purée, lemonade, Passion Tango tea and light bubbles, served over ice.”
- Strawberry Matcha Spritz: “A sparkling combination of real strawberry purée and sweetened matcha, served over ice for a bright, refreshing sip.”
At Dunkin’, the retailer is bringing back its 48-ounce Iced Beverage Buckets, available at participating Dunkin’ locations nationwide for a limited time starting August 7. Guests can purchase a bucket filled with an iced coffee or a refresher.
In addition to the bucket, the QSR is introducing its new “Dunkin' Iced Beverage Bucket Holder.”
“During an initial alpha market test earlier this year, guests made one thing clear: they wanted a simpler way to take their Beverage Buckets on the go. The Dunkin’ team got to work, designing a solution while the test was still underway. The result? The new Dunkin' Iced Beverage Bucket Holder, a custom accessory designed to hold a Beverage Bucket while fitting securely into a standard car cup holder,” Dunkin’ said.
